Product Description

Item 9 is the Reference 1163 “Viceroy” Autavia, so called because it was offered for $88 (in 1972), as part of a promotion by the Viceroy cigarette brand, at a time when the 1163 MH model (described above) was selling for $200 at retail. Features of the “Viceroy” that differentiate it from the standard model are the tachymeter bezel, brushed steel hands, and numerals 1 through 12 on the hour recorder.

Created and operated by Jeff Stein, OnTheDash.com is the definitive online reference covering Heuer chronographs, dashboard timers and other timepieces.

Pricing Estimates

The estimated price range for each watch in the Heuer 100 is based on data from a number of sources and factors affecting the condition and value of the individual watch. More Information.

Crown & Caliber works for watch sellers world-wide who look to us to sell their watches for them. This watch is owned by an individual who has tasked Crown & Caliber with selling it on their behalf. We have the right to refuse all offers on behalf of our consignors. Offers are not considered binding and terms will only be delivered after an offer has been accepted. All offers are subject to consignor approval and each watch is subject to an unpublished reserve unless otherwise indicated. We will make an effort to approach consignors if offers are close to the reserves.

Return Policy

We are selling these items “as is” – without service or addition of aftermarket parts from our shop in order to preserve the vintage condition of each timepiece. We feel that with rare vintage items such as these offered for sale, the buyer should have the option to take the watch to a service center of choice where he or she can have the authority to add any aftermarket parts or refinish the timepiece if desired. This means all timepieces in the Heuer 100 are final sale. Returns will not be accepted, and these watches will not come with Crown & Caliber’s standard limited warranty.

Ready to ship within 3-5 business days after order is processed and approved. Crown & Caliber will cover shipping on items purchased during this sale to domestic buyers. However, international buyers will be responsible for VAT & Customs fees. More Information.
